Training (with a plan)

Working-out or exercising is significant for keeping you healthy. When well balanced and varied its benefits are well documented and it works great for my senior clients and younger children or people who just need to maintain their current level of fitness.

However, it will not get the substantial body composition and health changes you're likely looking for.

'Training' is very different, as there is a very specific goal in mind. An adaptable plan is crafted and then followed consistently enough to get the desired results. Recording changes over time is also essential.

Training is hard and when done alone without proper direction, guidance and feedback can at best leave you spinning your wheels or skipping workouts. At worst, can give you an injury and a major set back.

Having a coach can help you succeed with your health and fitness goals. It takes the guess work and planning off your plate so you just have to turn up and be ready to go!

In addition to your personal goals I incorporate all aspects of general strength and fitness into every client plan, with the exception of specific sports performance goals.

I focus my clients on traditional, homemade meals, using whole foods.

As a professional coach it is absolutely essential for me to comprehend the nutritional sciences and to thoroughly understand special dietary needs. However, in my experience what you most likely need is actually very different.

My priority is to translate complicated information into what you personally need to 'do' to create success. This means, what foods to buy on your personal budget, what meals to eat and when to eat them, how to prepare those meals, how to cook them effectively and so they taste great.

Improving your knowledge and understanding of food, and upgrading your cooking skills will almost certainly improve your:

Simply put its about changing your daily habits. There maybe some habits that you really enjoy but know deep down that they are the very ones holding back your health and fitness goals. It's difficult to change I know, but it's not impossible with help.

We work together to identify the smallest habitual changes you can make to your lifestyle, that will create the biggest impact to your health and fitness. We then build on these habits over time, continually improving on your wellness.

Sometimes having someone right there with you is the support you need. Other times you might need to just talk to someone who will listen with a sincere want to understand.

And there maybe times you have lots of questions that require quality answers.

I understand the vital role of support in its many forms and make sure to be available to provide what you need.
